The AXUM Group is involved in real estate development in selected countries to realize above average returns. The Group’s activities  include the sourcing of sites, funding, development and eventually resale. At present, the Group controls a sizable asset portfolio in Greece and is setting up a significant pipeline in the Gulf.

The Group  consists of: Axum S.A. (Axum), the parent company of the Group; along with five Real Estate Development subsidiary investment companies. Axum is based in Athens, Greece; it acts as the master developer, providing the necessary development services as well as land banking for the Group.

Axum’s business model is a proven and successful one. It assesses investors’ preferences and risk profiles with regard to property development. It then establishes tailored investment companies and administers them under the Group umbrella. Axum searches out suitable land/property and prepares feasibility studies, economic and sensitivity analyses together with market assessments for the investor’s approval. Where needed, it acquires land and develops it for the Group companies. Further, it arranges bank finance to achieve optimal gearing and manages the whole development process from initiation through to exit (land acquisition, master development, building permits, finance, procurement, design, construction, cost control, accounts, leasing, property/asset management, sales, etc.).

Axum Group and its investment companies are privately held. Investors in Axum are composed of Greek and foreign entities as well as individuals. Dr. Joern Sideras is the Chairman and CEO of the Group.
